High School

Our High School Ministry is a place where high school students can come and feel like they belong. We play incredible games, hang out, worship, learn about God, and make great friends.

High School Youth Group :: a.k.a. HSYG

At High School Youth Group we throw open the doors welcoming students from high schools all over our area. Every Tuesday night from 7:00-9pm, students come to connect with friends, hear engaging and moving messages, grow in their relationship with Christ and participate in powerful worship. Many arrive early to hang out or throw a frisbee, play some spike ball, or just catch up with friends. Our hope is for students to experience Christ in a real way so that the rest of their lives are powerfully changed forever. We'd love for you to bring your friends too - we love seeing new faces and hope to welcome and embrace anyone who walks through our doors. We'll play some games, worship, and dig into God's Word together! There's always some other fun events happening in the Student Ministry world so keep an eye out for emails and announcements with all the details! If you are not receiving emails from Caleb, please let us know so we get you into our system!

Jr. High

Jr. High

Junior High Youth Group :: a.k.a. Refuge

Every Tuesday we meet right here at MCC from 7-8:45PM for a time of worship, games, lesson, friendship, laughs, and way too much fun!  Jr. High students are together with the High school students for games and worship, but afterward we separate for our own message and small groups.  We believe that we are family growing together to learn what it means to follow Jesus and share his love with the world.  So bring a friend and join us!

The Journey

Jr. High Journey is where Jr. High students dig into the Bible during an awesome experience called confirmation. Join us in 103C on Sunday mornings from 10:10:50am!

Want to find out more about Junior High? Email Jeff Colen at jeff.colen@mcclife.net to get connected or to be entered onto the Parent Email list.

Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups

D-groups (Discipleship Groups) are small groups that meet throughout the week for the purpose of providing a loving and caring community where teenagers can be honest, real, and authentic in growing and developing their own understanding of who Jesus really is.

The 4 main objectives are to:

  • get equipped
  • get trained
  • get empowered
  • get released

So how can you get involved in a D-group? Give us a call or email caleb.byron@mcclife.net

Parents

Parents Matter

Student Ministries is here to serve your family! We want to come alongside you to encourage and challenge your student on the journey of deepening their faith while learning how to navigate through the world that is theirs today. As students grow older, they often look for mentors and role models in addition to their parents. Our prayer is that they will find those adults within our staff and dedicated adult volunteers. We promise to be advocates for your son or daughter. Together, we can make a difference for life, helping you raise a child who loves God, loves others, and does great things for the Kingdom. We encourage you to visit our website regularly, check out our services and meet our staff; and watch for our parent emails with updates and resources.
